Sometimes the best ideas happen just before you’re supposed to be doing something else.

Before our Stevie Wonder show a couple of months ago, we were all sat down together, eating Pizza (as you do at Pizza Express) talking about the future of Independent Musicians Collective - the shows we’re creating, the places we want to perform and how we can make it easier for people to find us, watch us and book us.

Somewhere in that conversation, we decided it was time.

We bought independentmusicianscollective.com.

And now, here we are.

A New Home for Independent Musicians Collective

Over the years, Independent Musicians Collective has grown from a group of musicians who simply loved performing together into something much bigger.

From our live shows celebrating the music of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, R&B, Hip Hop, Disco and Soul, to weddings, private celebrations, corporate events and venue performances, we’ve been incredibly lucky to take this band into some brilliant spaces and perform for some wonderful audiences.

We wanted a website that could bring all of that together.

Thankfully, we also happen to have Luka Price.

As well as being one of the incredible soprano voices you’ll see performing with IMC, Luka is also a talented web designer. With Luka’s expertise, we’ve been able to build a new home for the Collective that feels much more like us: bold, musical, energetic and constantly evolving.

From now on, this is where you’ll find us.

You can come here to watch our latest live videos, discover our different shows and find tickets for upcoming performances.

And importantly, if you’re looking for live music for a wedding, corporate event, private celebration or venue, you can speak to us directly about hiring the band.

No middleman. Just a conversation with us about your event, what you’re looking for and how we can make it special.

We have so much to tell you, to show you. So many announcements. It’s still summer 2026, and we can’t wait to tell you about the shows we have in store for you in 2027!

We’ll be using this blog to share news from the band, upcoming shows, behind-the-scenes stories, live music and event advice, and probably a few things we haven’t thought of yet.
